Muskoka Spring Events 2026
- 100 People Who Care Dinner & Social, Join us June 15, 2026, at Sherwood Inn for an evening of connection and community impact. Dinner 5:30–7:00, meeting 7:00–8:00. Nominate charities May 4–18 at muskoka100peoplewhocare.ca.
- Segwun Storyboard Celebration, March 28. Free celebration at the Muskoka Discovery Centre with live entertainment and appetizers.
- Local History Open House, Bracebridge Library, March 27. Free drop in event.
- Edible Book Festival, Bracebridge Library. March 28. Free, but registration is required for the competition.
- Origami Rabbits craft workshop, March 28. Dwight Public Library.
- Easter Egg Scramble, April 18, JD Lang Park in Bracebridge. Free, old-fashioned Easter fun for kids 10 and under at 12pm.
- Port Carling Lions Club Annual Egg Hunt, April 4. Free event at Hanna Park, featuring a staggered start by age group.
- Muskoka Heritage Place Easter Egg Hunt. Huntsville. April 5. A free chocolate treasure hunt.
- Easter Egg Scramble, Bracebridge, Apr 3. Including entertainment, displays, vendors, at Fairgrounds.
- Muskoka Community Sing, Huntsville. Begins April 13, at Muskoka Music Centre. A free, five-week group singing series
- Muskoka Maple Festival, April 25, Town of Huntsville. A major free family-friendly festival, including a pancake breakfast, music, and vendors.
- National Miniature Golf Day, Bracebridge. May 9, 10 am, Northern Escapades. A free-to-attend season kick-off, plus activities with donation options.

- Belonging Without Barriers, Gravenhurst Seniors Centre, May 7th, 10am-2pm. Accessibility related event with the goal to promote access, barriers, and challenges of people living with accessibility issues (including mental, emotional or physical), and awareness regarding what’s available. Includes key speakers and refreshments.
Muskoka Winter events 2026
- Trails for Life, Port Sydney Community Hall & Waterfront, February 7th, 12-3pm. “This family-friendly community event is in support of both the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation and the Huntsville Hospital Foundation. The afternoon will feature live music, face painting, Learn-to-Ride snowmobile experiences, outdoor skating, Beaver Tails, cotton candy, and more. Several special guests will also be on hand to help support this important cause. It’s a fun, free event for all ages—and a great way to support our local hospitals.” Free event. RSVP form here.

- Torchlit Skating: Arrowhead Provincial Park and Muskoka Lakes Farm & Winery offer magical night skating.
- Evening Ice Skating and Snowshoeing – Saturdays, 6-9pm, Arrowhead Park Arrowhead Provincial Park’s 1.3km torchlit ice trail (Fire & Ice nights), Muskoka Lakes Farm & Winery’s torchlit trail (adults), and local rinks
- Northern Lights: Torrance Barrens Dark Sky Preserve offers dark skies for viewing the aurora borealis.
- WISE Without Walls (Jan – Mar) Telephone programs to enhance social and community engagement by the District of Muskoka
- WISE Mobile Active Living Centre – a resource for a variety of social and recreational programs by the District of Muskoka
