Moments of Joy

It’s the little things that brighten our days. Moments of Joy is a seasonal MSM Connect initiative that celebrates simple, uplifting moments in our community — the everyday experiences that make us smile, laugh, reflect, and feel connected. Each season, the community is invited to take part in the activities below. Participation is always free, easy, and meant to be enjoyed at your own pace and open to everyone. Select challenges are eligible for the monthly prize draws.
ACTIVITIES
📸 KIDS & FAMILY – SEASONAL PHOTO CHALLENGE

Share a photo of a child or family member enjoying a special moment with their grandparent. It could be a visit, walk, hug, laugh, or simply time spent together. These photos celebrate the meaningful connections between generations and the everyday moments that bring families closer. Photos may be featured in MUSKOKA SENIORS MAGAZINE and on MSM Connect (first names only).
How to Enter:
Submit your photo through the contact page or share it in the MSM Social Facebook Group.
Each season, one MSM Connect member entry is selected by random draw.

LETTERS TO GRANDPARENTS – SEASONAL COMMUNITY CORNER
Poem submitted by Anna to her late grandfather.
Children and youth are invited to write a short letter (150-300 words) or poem to their grandparent/s sharing a memory, a thank you, or a simple message of love and appreciation. These heartfelt notes celebrate the special bond between generations.
Selected letters will be featured in MUSKOKA SENIORS MAGAZINE and on MSM Connect (first names only).
MIDLIFE MOMENTS – SEASONAL PHOTO CHALLENGE

Share a photo that captures something that brings you joy at this stage of life – a favourite place, a hobby, a scenic view, or a simple moment in Muskoka that makes you pause and appreciate the day. Photos will be features on MSM Connect
